Help People. Build Relationships. Grow Your Career.
Â
At The District Credit Union, we're here to help our members, not just process transactions.
We're looking for a friendly and motivated Floating Financial Services Representative (FSR) who enjoys getting to know people, understanding their needs, and helping connect them with financial products and services that fit their goals.
You don't need to be a banking expert to succeed here. If you enjoy helping people, learning new things, and building relationships, we'll help you develop the financial-services skills you need to grow.
What You'll Do
- Welcome members and provide a friendly, personalized experience
- Work between our Chambers and Hampden branches based on business needs
- Open and service accounts and assist members with account questions and changes
- Learn about members' needs and recommend products and services that may benefit them
- Assist with loans, credit cards, certificates, IRAs, debit cards, online banking, and other financial services
- Identify opportunities to deepen member relationships through appropriate referrals and recommendations
- Resolve member concerns and work with other departments when additional support is needed
- Maintain accurate account information and documentation
- Protect confidential member information and follow Credit Union policies and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to branch service, relationship-building, and sales goals
Â
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- Up to 6 months of related experience; banking, financial services, retail, or customer service experience is helpful
- Friendly, approachable, and genuinely interested in helping people
- Strong communication, listening, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable having conversations about members' financial needs
- Ability to learn financial products, systems, and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment
Â
We believe great service comes first.
You won't be expected to pressure members into products they don't need. Instead, you'll learn to ask the right questions, understand what matters to each member, and recommend solutions that genuinely fit their needs.
Â
Why Join The District Credit Union?
We're proud to serve our community and believe financial services should feel personal. As an FSR, you'll have the opportunity to build relationships, make a difference for our members, and develop skills that can grow into a rewarding career in financial services.
