At The Child Development Center, we are searching for a loving, energetic, and dedicated assistant infant teacher to join our team. We are a NAEYC-accredited preschool located in Southwest Austin. As an established non-profit preschool, our primary focus is on children, families, and staff. We serve children infants - Pre-K.Â

Duties Include:
- Collaborating with Lead Teacher to implement an engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum that follows the standards for the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC)
- Collaborate with Lead Teacher regarding assessments, classroom materials, and specific child skill development
Supporting children’s learning by implementing the lesson plan
Communicating with families both verbally and in writing- Building positive relationships with parents and coworkers
- Serve as positive role model for all the children
- Encourage language development through developmentally appropriate activities, songs, questions, books, and other means
Active engagement with students and participation in classroom activities at all times
Maintaining an organized and clean classroom environment conducive to play-based learning

Qualifications:
Required ~ High School Diploma or GED- Preferred ~ Associate's or CDA
- Previous infant experience preferred
Candidates must meet all Texas DFPS requirements and must pass a background check
Must be able to lift/carry 30+ pounds- Must be able to be on your feet for long periods of timeÂ
