Schedule:Â Monday-Friday | Full-time 40 hours per week
How you'll make an impact in this role
- Review and manage medication orders, including oral oncology therapies, to identify, prevent, and resolve drug-related problems.
- Provide patient/provider education, drug information, counseling, and clinical recommendations; communicate with physicians and clinicians via phone and EMR.
- Recommend formulary alternatives and ensure safe, accurate compounding, dispensing, and delivery in accordance with pharmacy standards.
- Oversee pharmacy technicians, supporting medication preparation, maintenance, dispensing, and efficient specialty pharmacy workflow.
- Support Pulmonary/Lung clinics across the Texas market, with some onsite support as needed, while also contributing to pharmacy student precepting and maintaining continuity of patient care.
What minimum qualifications you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Pharmacist obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.
Education:
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.
What additional requirements you'll need
- Texas pharmacist license required.Â
- Must reside in the Austin, TX or Waco, TX area.Â
- Specialty Medication Clinical Management experience required.Â
