The Director of Clinical Operations responsible for ensuring assigned surgical centers and initiatives are operated within performance and regulatory objectives.

  • Provides training and coaching to Clinical Managers on key job responsibilities while fostering strong working relationships built on ongoing communication and trust
  • Travels and performs onsite visits to assigned surgical centers for the purpose of training, evaluation, implementation as needed
  • Ensures all surgical centers in a designated geography, current and future, have the proper licenses and accreditations in a timely manner
  • Collaborates with our Compliance Specialist to drive adherence to compliance requirements in accordance with state and AAAASF regulations
  • Sets up accounts with local vendors (i.e., cleaning, biomedical waste removal)
  • Manages for employee retention to keep team members motivated and drives employee engagement

Requirements

  • Strong leadership skills including change management and employee engagement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in training, coaching and performance management opportunities
  • Strong business acumen with the know-how on driving operational excellence and excellent customer service
  • Excellent team player with thought leadership skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in business and/or healthcare related preferred
  • 3+ years practice management experience in a management level position
  • Experience in a healthcare environment including clinic operations, financial management, quality management and risk management in a medium size medical facility
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
