What is the role?

Roku is seeking an Executive Assistant/Project Manager who will provide comprehensive administrative and project coordination support to multiple senior leaders, including SVPs, VPs, and Directors. This individual will manage a wide range of responsibilities in a dynamic, multi-national environment, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations across global time zones. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational abilities and excels at balancing competing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. This role requires outstanding verbal and written communication skills, the ability to handle confidential information with discretion, and a collaborative mindset for partnering with cross-functional teams. The Executive Assistant/Project Manager will play a key role in coordinating company events, managing vendor relationships, and supporting leadership through proactive problem-solving. This is a non-exempt position reporting into the organization's administrative operations function and will be hybrid.

What are the responsibilities of the role?

  • Manage complex calendars, coordinate travel arrangements, and process expense reports for multiple executives
  • Serve as a liaison across remote offices in partnership with the Director of Staff to ensure smooth cross-site coordination
  • Plan and execute company events, including meeting logistics, catering, off-site gatherings, and team celebrations as a member of the event team
  • Collaborate daily with other executive assistants to drive company-wide projects and communication initiatives
  • Create purchase orders and review and approve invoices for vendor payments
  • Provide backup coverage for various administrative functions as needed
  • Handle confidential documents and sensitive correspondence with discretion
  • Draft and distribute written communications on behalf of leadership
  • Track and manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met

 

What experience would help someone be successful in this role at Roku?

  • 7+ years of experience in an executive administrative assistant or similar role supporting senior leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels
  • Highly organized with proven follow-up, tracking, and prioritization capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, calendar management, and the Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience working across global time zones and multiple office locations
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Experience coordinating events, managing vendors, and handling procurement processes
  • Familiarity with working in a technology-focused organization
