Job DetailsJob Location: Austin, TX 78758Position Type: Full TimeJob Category: MaintenancePosition Summary: As a Housekeeper 1, you will be responsible for the daily upkeep of the common areas of your community. This position will assist in keeping the leasing office cleaned daily to maintain a welcoming environment for residents and guests. This role is responsible for cleaning homes after move out and ensuring a quality move-in experience. A successful Housekeeper 1 is able to manage their time effectively, is detail oriented, a trustworthy team player, and takes pride in their work. In addition, this position needs to be accountable and attentive to provide excellent customer service skills when interacting with residents, associates and vendors.   Primary Responsibilities: Perform daily grounds maintenance of the property including picking up and disposing of all trash, pet defecation removal, maintain pet waste stations, and sweeping walkways Assist with trashing out vacant units and doing basic screwdriver maintenance to include but not limited to; replacement of drip pans, removal of outlet/switch covers, ability to break down the interior of the refrigerator to ensure proper clearning Ensure market ready apartments, common areas and amenities are clean and maintained daily to Weidner’s quality standards Assist team with distributing resident correspondence and notices while maintaining privacy of confidential and sensitive information Accompany vendors to vacant and/or occupied units, as needed Monitor supplies and maintain equipment Must utilize Weidner issued cell phone and specified apps as part of your daily responsibilities Ensure maintenance shop/custodial area is clean, organized, and professionally presentable at all times QualificationsQualifications: Able to list and carry up to 45 pounds/20.4 kilograms, climb ladders and climb multiple flights of stairs at a time Able to use appliance dolly, push/pull up to 85 pounds/38.6 kilograms Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions Able to be on feet constantly for entire work shift, if applicable Complete tasks in a safe and efficient manner Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong motivation to learn & contribute on a daily basis Able to give professional directions clearly in person, over the phone, email, and text Experienced in Microsoft products preferred (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) Yardi, HappyCo, and Paycom experience preferred; Willing and able to learn new software programs Follow Weidner’s Mission, Vision and Values and comply with all Weidner policies and procedures as well as all Fair Housing, local, state/province, and federal laws Prompt, regular attendance; wear company dress code/uniform & maintain professional appearance at all times Work effectively and cooperatively in a team environment and/or independently Ability to work overtime as requested Willing and able to be assigned to other Weidner properties as needed Working knowledge of English; detail oriented, well organized Must agree to a criminal background check and sign an agreement for voluntary drug testing Must have access to personal vehicle and/or reliable transportation, at all times Driver’s license, vehicle and vehicle insurance must be valid and unexpired at all times and match the country in which associate will work
