We’re Hiring: All Positions!
GMi is seeking driven and motivated students to join our paid Internship Program. This full-time, in-person internship provides hands-on experience in the commercial construction industry, offering exposure to field operations, estimating, and project management. This opportunity is designed for individuals who want real-world experience, meaningful responsibility, and the chance to build a strong foundation for a long-term career in construction.

What You'll Do
  • Gain hands-on field experience working alongside experienced construction professionals.
  • Assist with layout, framing, drywall, and other jobsite activities.
  • Support field leadership with material coordination, safety inspections, documentation, and quality control.
  • Assist Project Managers with budgeting, scheduling, submittals, and project documentation.
  • Participate in progress walks, reporting, and production planning.
  • Develop an understanding of construction documents, estimating processes, and budgeting tools.
  • Build relationships with field teams, office staff, vendors, and clients.
What We're Looking For
  • Current college student pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to work in both field and office environments.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and work within a team.
  • Interest in pursuing a long-term career in commercial construction.
  • Prior construction experience is a plus, but not required.

Program Details
This is a full-time, in-person, paid internship program. Both summer and semester-long opportunities are available. Opportunity for future full-time employment based on performance.
