Orbital Welder - Commercial

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Commercial Orbital Welder to join our team in Austin, Texas. The candidate will be performing high-quality orbital and precision welding on commercial piping systems, tubing and related components.

This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret welding drawings and specifications, and a commitment to producing consistent, code-compliant welds while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate and maintain orbital welding equipment and associated tooling.
• Perform precision GTAW (TIG) orbital welding on stainless steel, carbon steel and other applicable materials.
• Prepare, fit, align, clean and inspect pipe and tube prior to welding.
• Follow welding procedures, weld maps, drawings, specifications, and job requirements.

Qualifications:

• 4 years experience in TIG/GTAW welding.
• Ability to read and interpret welding drawings, blueprints, weld maps and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Familiar with ASME, AWS, or other applicable welding standards.
