We are seeking a Project Manager for our Marketing Operations team in Austin, Texas, to lead the delivery of large-scale, multi-channel marketing initiatives across both Whole Foods Market and Amazon grocery brands.

This role will partner closely with Brand, Channel Marketing, and Creative teams to ensure seamless execution of complex marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement and business growth. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and embody Amazon's Leadership Principles while managing multiple high-impact projects simultaneously.

Key job responsibilities
Project Management & Execution
- Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale, multi-channel marketing initiatives for Whole Foods Market
- Manage project execution aligned with Global Marketing priorities and business objectives
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, timelines, and status reporting
- Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure marketing excellence

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication
- Coordinate across digital channels (email, web, social, paid media) and physical channels (in-store, print) to ensure timely asset delivery and specification compliance
- Partner with creative and content teams to manage review cycles, implement feedback and ensure deliverables meet brief requirements
- Collaborate with Marketing & Ecomm program owners to ensure briefs are clear and stakeholder feedback is appropriately addressed.
- Lead regular stakeholder communications including status updates, decision documentation and risk identification.

Stakeholder Engagement & Risk Management
- Build constructive business relationships with all marketing stakeholders.
- Analyze stakeholder needs, identify gaps, assess risks, and define capabilities to identify and solve business problems effectively.
- Demonstrate effective planning and stakeholder management by setting and managing realistic project timelines.

Process Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement in marketing operations processes and workflows
- Leverage project management and AI tools (such as Workfront, Quick, Kiro) to optimize team efficiency
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and increase operational effectiveness
- Champion best practices in project management across the PMO



About the team
The WWGS Brand & Sustainability organization is the brand-building and differentiation engine for Amazon’s Worldwide Grocery Stores business, encompassing Whole Foods Market and Amazon Grocery. Our Marketing Operations team sits at the center of this work — we are the connective tissue between Brand, Creative, Marketing, Channel, and external agency partners, ensuring world-class creative programs launch on time, on brand, and at scale.

The Project & Resource Management team within Marketing Operations manages the end-to-end delivery of 50+ concurrent creative and marketing programs across channels including Signage, Site Merchandising, Onsite, Paid Media, Social & Influencer, and Email. We operate at the intersection of strategic planning and tactical execution, bringing order to complexity and enabling our creative teams to do their best work. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- Knowledge of project management tools and software
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Can show strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working cross functionally across several teams Preferred Qualifications: - Experience driving results through digital marketing and multi-channel campaigns
- Experience with asset management, design workflows, or partnering with creative teams
- Experience working in a matrixed organization
- Experience handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem solving abilities

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
