This is a mission critical role that will lead transmission line easement negotiations and fee simple purchases for our multimillion-dollar infrastructure portfolio. These efforts are reached across West Texas, Central Texas, to Matagorda Bay. How You’ll Contribute
- Manage land rights acquisitions for the purchase, lease, and easement of transmission lines, water systems, and infrastructure projects.Â
- Serve as the primary liaison between LCRA and private landowners, successfully driving negotiations to secure property purchases, sales, and leases.Â
- Execute complex urban property acquisitions involving multiple stakeholders, navigating local development codes and municipal ordinances.Â
- Evaluate title records to identify and resolve complex title and closing issues.Â
- Analyze legal and real estate documents to assist in drafting contracts and agreements.Â
- Periodically prepare critical documentation for the acquisition or disposal of easements or real estate assets owned by LCRA.Â
How You’re Qualified
- Six or more years of experience in real estate negotiations, appraisal, land acquisition, title research, landowner relations, contract negotiation, or utility infrastructure project coordination or other relevant experience.
- A degree(s) in real estate, project management, business, law, engineering, environmental science, geographic information systems, or a relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
- Driver's license
