Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Coordination in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery check-in procedures in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and escalate concerns through established reporting channels.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports, and maintain professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
