About the Role
Gotransverse is seeking an experienced Senior Enterprise Account Executive to drive new business with large and complex enterprise organizations. This is a strategic, consultative sales role focused on customers transforming how they price, bill, monetize, and manage revenue.
You're an adept and energetic seller, equally comfortable in a business conversation with a CFO and a technical conversation with a CTO or CIO. You understand the buyer journey, can lead a complex enterprise SaaS sale in a highly consultative manner, and enjoy helping prospects quantify the value of their investment decision. You'll engage executive-level buyers across Finance, Technology, Product, and Operations, and own the full cycle from initial opportunity development through contract execution.
Our platform supports sophisticated recurring, usage-based, consumption, subscription, and hybrid business models — making this an ideal opportunity for a seller experienced in enterprise SaaS, billing, ERP, fintech, quote-to-cash, or other mission-critical financial platforms. Gotransverse is a multi-year winner of the Best Places to Work in Austin award, and you'd be joining a team-oriented company of more than 100 colleagues who take that culture seriously.
Job Overview
•    Target Market: Enterprise accounts ($200M+ revenue and/or complex billing requirements)
•    Sales Cycle: 6 to 12 months
•    Average Deal Size: $250,000 to $500,000+ Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR)
Responsibilities
•    Prospect, forecast, and close new enterprise SaaS billing opportunities, developing and executing territory plans for named accounts.
•    Engage C-level and senior buyers across Finance, IT, Product, and Operations, and build a track record selling to CFOs, CTOs, and CIOs.
•    Lead complex enterprise sales cycles end-to-end, from initial opportunity development through contract execution.
•    Qualify and manage opportunities and forecast accurately with regular pipeline updates in HubSpot.
•    Partner with Solutions Engineering on product demonstrations and technical evaluations, and coordinate proof-of-concepts with customer technical and finance teams.
•    Develop compelling, value-based business cases and proposals for C-level meetings, and lead RFP responses by coordinating the necessary internal resources.
•    Navigate procurement, legal, security, and executive approval processes, and negotiate pricing and terms on multi-year enterprise agreements.
Requirements
•    5+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, preferably in billing, fintech, ERP, CPQ, or related financial platforms.
•    Proven track record of meeting or exceeding $1M+ annual quotas, with a history of quota and revenue goal overachievement.
•    Experience selling complex software solutions to large enterprise organizations, with the ability to engage and influence executive, business, and technical stakeholders.
•    Proficiency in complex solution selling, value selling, and consultative sales methodology (e.g., challenger sale).
•    Excellent written and oral communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; composed and effective under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
•    Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, plus CRM and sales engagement tools (HubSpot, Salesloft, or similar).
•    Ability to travel 30–40% for onsite prospect meetings and presentations.
Preferred Qualifications
•    Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field; Finance/Accounting degree or MBA a plus.
•    Network: An extensive corporate professional network, with established relationships among Finance and IT decision-makers in target markets.
•    Domain Experience: Familiarity with recurring, subscription, usage-based, or consumption-based business models.
Compensation
•    Base & OTE: Base: $110,000 – $130,000 | OTE: $220,000 – $250,000+ (Uncapped)
•    Pay Mix: Roughly a 50/50 split between base salary and variable commission — with target variable compensation at $110,000 at 100% of quota, paid on new ARR closed and collected.
•    Accelerators & SPIFFs: Commission accelerates the more you sell — aggressive accelerators for exceeding quota, plus SPIFF bonuses for hitting quarterly targets...uncapped upside for top performers.Â
•    Benefits: Comprehensive health and dental coverage, 401(k), and a company-funded HRA (Health Reimbursement Account), plus company lunches and snacks, downtown parking and public transportation reimbursement.
