Connectivity Solutions, and Orbia business, is seeking to hire a Sr. Regional OPEX Engineer to drive Operational Excellence deployment across assigned Dura-Line sites through the p2e program – including Lean Six Sigma methods, and structured continuous improvement projects. In this role, you will partner with plant and corporate teams to improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost, and employee engagement while building site capability through training, coaching, and project execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead regional p2e deployment and maturity progression by coaching sites on p2e expectations, tools, dashboards, assessments, project plans, certification progress, and standard OPEX routines.

  • Plan, facilitate, and support OPEX projects including Kaizen Events involving 5S, SMED, Six Sigma, TPM, visual management, standard work, VSM, OEE improvement, replenishment systems, process flow improvements, and other Lean initiatives.

  • Build site capability through training and coaching by delivering or supporting Lean Six Sigma, p2e White/Blue/Orange Level training, OPEX tool development, project coaching, and mentoring of site leaders and project owners.

  • Support project identification, prioritization, and execution by partnering with plant leadership to connect improvement projects to site goals, KPI gaps, x-matrix priorities, customer needs, and business performance opportunities.

  • Track and report OPEX project performance including project status, benefits realization, cost savings, KPI impact, certification completion, maturity progress, project completion, and lessons learned.

  • Support quality improvement projects as needed by applying structured problem solving, root cause analysis, corrective action planning, process standardization, audit support, and quality performance improvement methods.

  • Drive standardization and best practice sharing by identifying successful site practices, documenting learnings, supporting replication across sites, and contributing to regional and global OPEX forums.

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by reinforcing data-based decision making, disciplined project management, employee engagement, process ownership, and sustainable improvement behaviors.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Science, Business, or a related technical field preferred

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent practical experience preferred

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Industrial Engineering, Quality, Process Engineering, or a related role

  • Hands-on experience leading or supporting CI structured problem-solving projects in a manufacturing environment

  • Strong project management skills, including project planning, follow-up, risk identification, stakeholder alignment, and benefits tracking

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence site leaders, supervisors, engineers, quality teams, and frontline employees without direct authority

  • Ability to analyze data, identify KPI trends, quantify project impact, and communicate results in a clear, actionable way

  • Experience developing, delivering, or supporting training content for technical or operational audiences

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint

  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid role while staying connected to regional, site, and corporate stakeholders

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience with Smartsheet, Safety Culture, Power BI, QT9, or similar project tracking, audit, dashboard, or document control systems

  • Experience in plastic extrusion, conduit, manufacturing, or related industrial environments

  • Experience creating training videos, PowerPoint training content, job aids, playbooks, or standard work documentation

  • Valid driver’s license required when travel between facilities, airports, hotels, or local sites is required

“The compensation for this position will typically range from $ 80,500 - $149,000/yr. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.

The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
