As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This role requires Level III Armed Certification in Texas and 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security experience. Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; contact appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Maintain an authorized firearm and other assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately; communicate relevant information to site management, Allied Universal leadership, and responding personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
