Position Summary
River Place Country Club is seeking an energetic, knowledgeable, and customer-focused Personal Trainer to join our fitness team on weekends. The ideal candidate is passionate about health and wellness, enjoys building relationships with members, and is committed to helping clients achieve their fitness goals through safe, effective, and engaging training sessions.
Responsibilities
Conduct one-on-one and small group personal training sessions.
Develop individualized fitness programs based on clients' goals and fitness levels.
Provide instruction on proper exercise technique and equipment usage.
Motivate and support members in achieving their health and wellness goals.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe fitness environment.
Assist with opening or closing duties, depending on shift.
Build and maintain strong relationships with members to encourage retention and referrals.
Promote personal training services and wellness programs.
Respond professionally to member questions and provide exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
Current nationally recognized Personal Training certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, ISSA, NSCA, or equivalent).
CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain before employment).
Previous personal training or fitness coaching experience preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, reliable, and professional.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be available to work weekends.
Preferred Skills
Experience working in a private club, fitness center, or hospitality environment.
Sales experience or the ability to build a personal training clientele.
Knowledge of functional training, strength training, and corrective exercise.
