ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree from four-year college. Master’s degree from an ALA-accredited library program or equivalent . EXPERIENCE: At least three years spent professionally in an academic environment, either in the Library or at an academic position. Supervisory experience strongly preferred. CERTIFICATION: Master’s degree from an ALA-Accredited program or equivalent. |
PHYSICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Position requires sitting for long periods of time and the visual and manual ability to use a computer keyboard. Requires ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or the ability to stand, walk and manipulate (lift, carry, move) weights of up to 40 lbs and the ability to push a fully loaded book cart. Packing and unpacking boxes of books may be required. |
