CDL-A Local Truck Driver - Home Daily

Highway Hitters Trucking Company is currently recruiting CDL-A drivers for a dedicated home-daily opportunity based in Shafter, California.

Drivers will haul dedicated freight from the Shafter distribution center to locations throughout Southern California. This is a no-touch freight position offering consistent work, daily home time and typically two consecutive days off each week.

• Typically 2 consecutive days off per week

• 100% no-touch freight
• Average 2–3 stops
• Backhaul freight returning to the distribution center

This is a seven-day operation, and drivers should expect to work weekends.

Most loads depart the distribution center between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM.

Drivers typically receive two consecutive days off, which may include:

• Monday/Tuesday
• Tuesday/Wednesday
• Wednesday/Thursday
• Thursday/Friday

Drivers operate newer, well-maintained trucks with automatic transmissions, pulling dry van and refrigerated trailers.

This is a slip-seat operation, and trucks must remain parked at the Shafter distribution center.

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3+ months of commercial driving experience
• Experience with dry van, reefer, or flatbed equipment
• Must meet carrier hiring, DOT screening, and safety requirements
• Clean and verifiable driving record
• Must be comfortable working evenings, weekends, and within a seven-day operation schedule
• Must live within approximately 50 miles of Shafter, CA
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
