Are you looking for achallenge where you can push yourself, own complex problems, and make a visible impact every day? We are seeking a Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist to lead end‑to‑end material and financial planning in support of complex, high‑visibility programs.

This role operates in ahighly dynamic and is ideal for a high performer who thrives on solving hard problems, driving results, and continuously improving how we operate. You will partner closely with Program Management, Business Management, Contracts, Operations, and Global Supply Chain to ensure material readiness, support program schedules, and align supply chain execution with cost and contractual requirements.

This position supports the Radar Advanced Product Families Operating Unit within the Global Mission Solutions Business Unit located in Baltimore, MD. This role requires on site presence multiple days a week.

Basic Qualifications – Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain, contracts, operations an/or business, or Master’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain, contracts, operations and/or business, or High school diploma or GED with at least 9+ years of experience in supply chain, contracts, operations and/ or business.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite with expertise in MS Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, data analysis).
  • SAP experience or other ERP systems.
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications – Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist

  • Previous experience with Contract Award planning
  • Experience in Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
  • Control Account Manager (CAM) certification or equivalent internal qualification.
  • Experience with Federal and Defense contracting requirements, including ITAR, DOS licenses, FAR, and DFARS.

Primary Level Salary Range: $89,900.00 - $134,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
