Overview

The Research Coordinator assists and collaborates with the Principal Investigator (PI) and research collaborators for research studies related to neurological, neurogenetic neurodevelopmental and psychiatric conditions in children, adolescents, and adults. This position requires a degree of responsibility, flexibility, and independence to perform diverse duties including collecting, analyzing, and archiving data.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare and submit Institutional Review Board (IRB)-required materials, and prepare compliance and regulatory documentation for local, state, and federal agencies (as well as any other pertinent entity).2. Under the direction of the Senior Research Coordinator, assist and support daily clinical trial and research study activities, including participant recruitment and scheduling, study procedure scheduling and coordination, obtaining results and ensuring clinician review, and documentation completion.3. Communicate directly with research collaborators, study sponsors, and study vendors.4. Manage research data in accordance with protocols established by sponsors and the Institute.5. Attend study and research related meetings, conferences, and teleconferences. 6. Participate in research planning and development activities. 7. Support data preparation, data entry, transfer, archiving, maintenance, and analysis as needed. Provide and communicate data-related study progress, issues, and problems to research collaborators.8. Assist with general administrative work, including processing participant reimbursements and incentives, inventory and ordering supplies, and organizing service billing.9. Work closely with the Senior Research Coordinator to develop and implement standard operating procedures.

 

Qualifications

EDUCATION:Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in psychology, mathematics/statistics, neuroscience, biology, biophysics, physics, chemistry, biochemistry, or another related field.

EXPERIENCE:Minimum two (2) years of research related work experience required.

Minimum pay range

USD $40,043.12/Yr.

Maximum pay range

USD $66,204.53/Yr.
