Jimmy John's of Belvedere Square is looking for an energetic and dependable Shift Manager to join our fast-paced sandwich team in Baltimore, MD! Responsibilities:Â
- Oversee daily shift operations to ensure fast, accurate, and friendly customer service
- Lead, coach, and motivate team members during shifts to maintain high performance standards
- Monitor food prep, sandwich assembly, and delivery operations for quality and consistency
- Handle opening and/or closing duties including cash management and register reconciliation
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health code standards
- Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally to maintain guest satisfaction
- Manage inventory, track product levels, and communicate supply needs to management
Requirements:
Â
- Prior experience in a supervisory or shift lead role in food service or quick-service restaurant (QSR) preferred
- Strong leadership and team communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Basic cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) system experience
- Food safety certification (ServSafe) a plus or willingness to obtain
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Must be at least 18 years of age
