About the Job
The Truck Driver is responsible for safely transporting products, conducting equipment inspections, and ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver products to customers and designated locations.
- Complete pre-trip, post-trip, and DOT inspections and accurately document findings.
- Perform minor equipment adjustments and report maintenance needs through work requests.
- Load, unload, and transport materials while following all safety and operational procedures.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform housekeeping activities in assigned work areas.
- Comply with DOT regulations, Hours of Service requirements, and company policies.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support safe and efficient operations.
- Work in varying weather conditions while ensuring the safe and professional transport of materials.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with tanker endorsement.
- Minimum of one year of commercial driving experience.
- Basic reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe vehicle operation practices.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to safely climb ladders, perform physical labor, and regularly lift up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to work extended hours in compliance with FMCSA regulations and in varying weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience operating pneumatic and/or liquid tanker equipment.
- Experience driving manual transmission vehicles.
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs).
- Knowledge of PPE requirements and safe work practices in industrial environments.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent safety awareness and attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively communicate and work collaboratively with operations personnel.
