POSITION SUMMARY

As an Big O Tires Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and accurately servicing customer vehicles while delivering exceptional customer service. We are looking for people-first individuals with a desire to work and grow in the automotive services industry in a fast-growing location. Pay Rate: $21-50 per hour (depending on experience)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform general automotive repairs and maintenance including but not limited to the following: engine performance, suspension and steering, brakes, electrical, heating and air conditioning, and leak repair
Perform wheel alignments
Provide exceptional customer service, working directly with customers to explain service options and repair needs
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Participate in training & follow safety procedures
Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Valid driver's license
Previous Experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
Must be at least 18+ years old
Availability to work Saturdays, and after regular business hours as needed
Willingness to learn new concepts, use required equipment, and prepare and review service documentation
Pride in work product; do it correctly the first time
Deadline and detail-oriented
Must have own tools
Ability to move and lift up to 75 pounds

Work Environment

You will work in a retail operation within the automotive services industry. Work with the latest equipment, tools, lifts, and alignment machines. Work hours will vary but generally include working a combination of weekdays and Saturdays including overtime as needed.
