EisnerAmperĀ has experienced significant growth and is seekingĀ a Senior Accountant for our Outsourced Accounting team focused on special projects.Ā You will play a crucial role in supporting theĀ financial operations and accounting processes for clients in various sectors.Ā The Senior Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to ensureĀ timelyĀ andĀ accurateĀ financial reporting andĀ assistĀ with key business decisions.Ā

Ā What Work You Will be Responsible For:  

  • AssistĀ the team through all phases of client engagementsĀ including work planning, mobilization, execution, and closeout consistent with established program delivery processes to meet the scope, schedule, budget, and other contract requirementsĀ 

  • Ensure that the scope of work is completed to the satisfaction of the client and key stakeholders, while simultaneously ensuring that quality,Ā financial, risk management, business and policy expectations are metĀ 

  • Ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, laws, and regulations, while stayingĀ up to dateĀ on compliance-related mattersĀ 

  • Conduct research to resolveĀ technical accounting issuesĀ as appropriateĀ 

  • Prepare andĀ maintainĀ accurateĀ financial records and support month-end close processesĀ 

  • May provide on-site,Ā virtualĀ or augmented business services forĀ clientsĀ 

  • AssistĀ with preparing reports and deliverables for review, highlighting key issues, trends, and risksĀ identifiedĀ during project workĀ 

  • Provide support on other consulting projects, as necessaryĀ 

  • Proactively communicates any issues/concerns relating to assignmentsĀ 

  • Prepares for relevant certification exams until completed andĀ maintainsĀ the required CPE for firm and licensing requirementsĀ 

Basic Qualifications:   

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting,Ā Finance or related fieldĀ 

  • 3+ years ofĀ public accounting experience,Ā orĀ 3+ years combined experience across public and industry accountingĀ 

Preferred/Desired Skills:  

  • CPA or pursuing CPA certificationĀ 

  • Ability to learn and understand new concepts, workflows, and software applications.Ā 

  • Highly organizedĀ withĀ strong attention to detailĀ 

  • Perform effectively, efficiently,Ā and with quality under tight deadlinesĀ whileĀ managingĀ multiple prioritiesĀ 

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsĀ 

  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, proactive nature, and be receptive to feedbackĀ 

  • Exhibit professionalism andĀ maintainĀ the highest level of confidentialityĀ 

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within a team environmentĀ 

  • Technically proficient with the capability of performing at an intermediate or advanced level with respect to the Microsoft Office Suite of products (specifically Excel, and Word, Outlook)Ā
