Main duties
- Participates in defining R&D plans within his/her area in coherency with his/her Business Unit development plan..

- Draws up the schedule for the developments he/she is in charge of and allocates resources accordingly..

- Oversees the team he/she is in charge of..

- Oversees the various development stages of developments under his/her responsibility (feasibility, conception, testing and product validation)..

- Calls on resources inside and outside the group (technical experts, laboratories …) and/or collaborates with customers/suppliers as required..

- Manages his/her cost center budget and takes part in drawing up investment needs..

- Manages tax relief and funded collaborative projects..

- Manages intellectual properties and organizes the technical watch and the benchmark..
