Responsibilities & Requirements

The Medical Office Assistant Float supports patient care, safety, and access by performing administrative tasks in a medical office or outpatient setting. This role ensures efficient front office operations, accurate recordkeeping, and a welcoming environment for patients and visitors. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.High school diploma or equivalent.None required; experience in a healthcare or medical office setting preferred.None required at hire.

Preferred Qualifications

Completion of a medical assisting or medical office administration program from an accredited institution. One year of experience in a medical office, outpatient clinic, or healthcare administrative support role.
