Location: Copiers Northwest Portland Distribution Center

Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm 

Pay Rate: $30-33 per hour DOE

Job Summary

The Warehouse Lead position is responsible for leading a small team through hands-on management of daily workflow within the warehouse. You will communicate with internal customers and branches, providing exceptional service and following up to ensure tasks and goals are completed on time. This role also requires a strong understanding of facility operations.

Key Duties

  • Provide hands-on leadership and direction to a small team
  • Review open orders throughout the day, evaluating priorities and communicating with internal teams to support customer needs
  • Unload inbound trucks, perform quality inspections for both inbound and outbound equipment, and complete all required paperwork
  • Perform cycle counts and help maintain accurate inventory
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organized warehouse, including monitoring for optimum space allocation
  • Monitor the responsible use of company resources and troubleshoot minor facility issues
  • Follow company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • 2-year prior experience in a leadership role, preferably with warehouse experience

Skills and Qualifications

  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Sharp critical thinking skills and sound judgment
  • Reliable, accountable, and receptive to feedback
  • Basic computer and MS Office proficiency preferred

Physical and Environmental Demands

  • Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other material-handling equipment
  • Ability to hear auditory alarms
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • May require work outside normal business hours, including mornings and evenings
