Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary strategic thought partner to the Director of Capacity Ecosystems and infra leadership on capacity strategy, organizational direction, and critical trade-offs
- Own and drive 2-3 of the team's highest-complexity initiatives end-to-end from problem framing and stakeholder alignment through cross-functional coordination and delivery of measurable outcomes
- Develop original frameworks that shape how Meta thinks about capacity at an enterprise level connecting compute, storage, network, AI/ML accelerators, data center footprint, and supply chain into a cohesive decision-making model
- Lead programs across industry partnerships, financial operations, and people operations translating strategic decisions into concrete workstreams with clear milestones, ownership, and accountability
- Step in as the direct executor on ambiguous, high-stakes problems without a clear owner building from zero to one and handing off with a functioning operating model
- Maintain rigorous follow-through: track progress, surface risks, drive resolution on blockers, and ensure initiatives land (not just launch)
- Own the rhythm of business — designing and running the cadences, decision rights, information flows, and governance structures that enable effective strategy execution across a complex, matrixed organization
- Run high-priority meetings end-to-end; streamline processes and build the goal-setting architecture (OKRs, KPIs) and business review frameworks the broader team runs on
- Identify systemic challenges misaligned incentives, structural gaps, unclear ownership and implement solutions that improve how capacity decisions get made across Infrastructure
- Develop content for Meta's senior leaders executive briefings, board-level materials, and strategic communications that convey capacity strategy, risks, and investment rationale to the most senior audiences
- Set strategy for org-wide communications and ensure that capacity-related decisions across multiple VP-level orgs are coherent, sequenced, and mutually reinforcing
Minimum Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in strategy, operations, or management consulting within technology/infrastructure organizations, with demonstrated progression in scope and impact
- Track record of both shaping strategy at an organizational level AND personally driving complex initiatives to delivery not just advising, but owning outcomes
- Experience as a trusted strategic advisor to VP-level or equivalent executives, with demonstrated ability to influence without authority across senior leadership
- Exceptional analytical and problem-structuring skills ability to create clarity from ambiguous, high-stakes problems through structured frameworks and quantitative rigor
- Executive-level communication skills: ability to distill complex infrastructure and business dynamics into crisp narratives for SVP/VP audiences
- Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives in complex, matrixed organizations from concept through measurable delivery
- Bachelor's degree in economics, business, quantitative discipline, or relevant field
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with infrastructure capacity planning, cloud economics, data center strategy, hardware roadmaps, or supply chain operations at hyperscale
- Experience navigating multi-billion-dollar capital allocation environments
- Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
- Demonstrated ability to drive operating model changes that improved decision-making quality and speed
- Background in top-tier management consulting or senior internal strategy roles at large technology companies with a bias toward 'do' over 'recommend'
- Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
- MBA or advanced degree
$187,000/year to $252,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
