We’re the Central Oregon branch of a growing, family owned company, and we're looking for someone who can support our Housekeeping Executive Manager while helping lead our housekeeping team in cleaning and preparing privately owned vacation condos for arriving guests.

And before we go any further...

A lot of job advertisements throw around meaningless phrases about wanting “detail-oriented self-starters who thrive in a fast-paced environment.”

We'd rather just pay you for impressing our guests. And we put it in writing. This position pays $25–$28 per hour, depending on you, your experience, work ethic, attitude, leadership, and skill set. We have an easily attainable monthly bonus program that can put an additional $100 or even $200 per month in your pocket.

First, this is NOT a “stand around with a clipboard and tell everyone else what to do” supervisor position. We need a working leader. You'll help organize the housekeeping day, assign rooms, inspect completed cleans, maintain our quality-control standards, coordinate deep cleans, help with inventory, communicate issues to management, complete shift reporting, and keep your team moving toward the finish line.

Most importantly, when the team needs help, you jump in and help. Our formal Housekeeping Supervisor position is specifically designed around leading the shift while actively supporting Housekeeping Specialists throughout the day. In other words: if your team is buried, you don't stand there holding a clipboard. You grab some gloves.

We've brought housekeeping into this century with quality control. Our housekeeping team uses a smartphone app that walks them through the cleaning process and provides pictures of the rooms they're cleaning. Once the room is finished, it gets inspected using digital inspection checklists as part of our quality-control process. The technology helps us maintain consistent standards and makes everyone's job easier. Using the app is a requirement.

So, with all due respect...If you're still rocking a flip phone, this probably isn't going to work out.
