What will you do as a Swim Instructor?
- The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with SafeSplash curriculum in a fun, positive manner
- Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts
- Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills
- Ensure swimmer safety
- Rotate into team member roles such as Front Desk, Lifeguard, and Deck Supervisor when needed
What are we looking for in a Swim Instructor?
- Previous swim instruction is preferred but we are happy to train you
- Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant preferred but we will get you certifiedÂ
- Availability to work afternoons specifically 2pm to 5pm
