Health Safety and Environment Administrative Assistant
The Assistant reports to her/his Unit Manager or any other person appointed by the latter.
In the event of absence, she/he is replaced by another Assistant or by a person appointed by the direct line manager.
Qualifications and Experience:
Entry Level administrative competencies as listed below
Professional abilities:
- Rigor, autonomy, interpersonal skills, discretion and respect for confidentiality in relation to acquired information
- Command of office automation systems and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint…)
Technical knowledge:
Field-related knowledge and/or aptitude pertaining to Office administration.
She/he performs administrative and office support activities for her/his manager and in certain cases for the Unit staff. She/he acts as the liaison between the management and the personnel
- Will assist in the implementation of new safety programs; specifically, SGR and LOTO
- Will create documentation for new processes requiring time on the production floor and administrative office
- Consolidate key data for management
- Processes or creates the Unit documentation, handles requests or mails, provides assistance during presentations
- Performs classic clerical tasks (organizing and maintaining diaries and making appointments)
- Forwards information and assigned reports
- Assist with Implementing AKWEL processes and standards
- Able to assess the relevance and urgency level of the different information received
- Assists the Unit manager in certain projects
- Must apply all QSE² procedures and operating instructions within the framework of operations linked to his job and the rules defined by the Group.
- Agrees to act in accordance with the ethical rules of the Group.
CONFIDENTIALITY:
Has a duty to preserve secrecy and confidentiality with respect to all the systems and data to which he can be granted access, within the normal framework of his function.
She/he is constantly interacting with personnel on administrative matters within her/his scope of expertise. She/he may have to liaise with external parties (customers, suppliers, service providers) as appropriate within her/his scope of duties.
.Job Type: Full Time- Temporary (3 months)
Job Hours: 7:00a.m.-3:00 p.m.with overtime as needed
Work Location: Cadillac, MI (one location)
