Director of Procurement
Position Summary
Lead Meyer Sound’s global procurement strategy to ensure a resilient, cost-effective, and scalable supply base. Drive supplier performance, contract management, sourcing excellence, and risk mitigation while partnering across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and Finance to support growth and innovation. A key focus is consolidating supplier relationships and leveraging enterprise-wide spend to maximize value, simplify operations, and strengthen strategic partnerships. The hiring range for the role is $116K to $339K annually. Individual compensation will be determined based on job-related qualifications, experience, education, skills, geographic location, and alignment with internal compensation practices

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global sourcing and procurement strategies.
- Lead supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, and performance management.
- Consolidate fragmented vendor relationships, standardize commercial agreements, and leverage purchasing scale across the business.
- Build strategic supplier partnerships that improve quality, delivery, innovation, and cost performance.
- Drive cost-reduction, value engineering, and supply chain optimization initiatives.
- Establish multi-source supply strategies and mitigation plans for critical supply risks.
- Support new product introductions and manufacturing operations through effective supplier engagement.
- Provide executive reporting on supply chain performance, inventory, cost savings, and business risks.
- Ensure ethical, compliant, and transparent procurement practices worldwide.Â
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of procurement and supply chain leadership experience in manufacturing.
- Proven success in global sourcing, supplier development, and contract negotiation.
- Experience with NPI processes and a mix of in-house manufacturing, contract manufacturing, ODM, and JDM environments.
- Strong commercial, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Experience driving supplier consolidation and enterprise spend management.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
