Bring Big Stories to Life

Are you the kind of producer who can take an idea scribbled on a page and turn it into a polished piece of content that people actually want to watch?

We're looking for an accomplished Producer/Director to join a high-performing in-house studio team supporting one of the nation's most recognized consumer brands. This is an opportunity for a versatile storyteller who is equally comfortable developing a creative concept, directing talent, running a shoot, jumping behind the camera, shaping an edit, or leading a live production.

This isn't a role where you'll simply hand projects off to someone else. You'll have the opportunity to own productions from concept through final delivery, creating content that reaches associates, customers and external audiences across multiple platforms.

If you're a producer/director who loves the creative process but also knows how to get things done, this could be an outstanding next move.

This role is onsite with our client in Coppell, TX.

What You'll Do

As the Producer/Director, you'll lead the development and execution of compelling, relevant and on-trend media content across internal, external and social channels.  You'll work independently on projects while also collaborating with larger creative teams on complex, multi-division productions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Own projects from concept to delivery, transforming business objectives into creative, engaging content.
  • Produce and direct field and studio productions, including video, still photography and live events.
  • Develop the creative vision for projects, including overall look, feel, storytelling approach and production style.
  • Write scripts, treatments and program proposals and help translate ideas into executable productions.
  • Shoot and edit content for field and studio productions and create graphics as projects require.
  • Direct on-camera talent and internal presenters, helping them deliver natural, engaging and effective performances.
  • Lead live and interactive productions and confidently manage the moving pieces that come with live events.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external clients to establish project objectives, creative direction, expectations and deliverables.
  • Manage production schedules, resources, budgets, creative workflows and deadlines across multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Collaborate with corporate affairs and studio teams to ensure content aligns with established brand and style guidelines.
  • Identify and select appropriate on-screen talent for productions.
  • Stay current on emerging production technology, equipment, techniques and content trends.
  • Experiment with new creative approaches and technologies, including tools and platforms from Adobe, RED, Sony, AJA and others.
  • Gather and act on feedback from stakeholders, peers and audiences to continuously improve the effectiveness of content.
  • Travel to company locations, vendor sites and other production locations as projects require.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a creative professional who combines strong storytelling instincts with serious hands-on production chops.

You should bring:

  • 6+ years of experience in a creative media production environment.
  • Strong command of the complete production lifecycle, including scripting, pre-production, production, graphics and post-production.
  • Demonstrated success creating compelling, engaging media content.
  • Experience managing multiple complex productions simultaneously while meeting demanding deadlines.
  • Strong producing and directing capabilities in both field and studio environments.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with everyone from production crews and creative partners to senior business stakeholders.
  • Strong creative judgment coupled with analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to build productive relationships across a large, complex organization.
  • The versatility to work in a variety of production environments, including office, field, retail, manufacturing and logistics locations.
  • A collaborative leadership style that creates an environment where cast, crew and creative partners can do their best work.

Even Better If You Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Film, Video Production or a related discipline.
  • Commercial, film or documentary production experience.
  • Experience working with or supporting major companies and nationally recognized brands.
  • Strong proficiency with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
  • A portfolio or demo reel showcasing your producing, directing and storytelling capabilities.

The Person Who Will Thrive Here

You're more than a producer who manages schedules, and you're more than a director who shows up for the shoot.  You're a hands-on creative problem solver.  You can walk into a meeting and help shape an idea, develop the treatment, write the script, plan the production, direct the talent, manage the crew and make sure the finished product delivers on the original objective.  You're comfortable operating as a one-person production shop when necessary, but you also know how to collaborate with a larger creative team when the scope of the production demands it.  Most importantly, you understand how to tell authentic stories that connect with an audience—whether the subject is community impact, sustainability, hunger relief, company initiatives, business performance or the people behind the brand.

Why This Opportunity?

This role offers something increasingly rare in corporate production: the opportunity to combine creative ownership, hands-on production and enterprise-level storytelling.  You'll work on a diverse mix of projects and have the opportunity to influence content from the earliest creative conversations through the final frame.  If you have the experience, creative instincts and technical versatility to take a story from concept to camera to final cut, we'd like to see your work.

Once you join our team, you would get the opportunity to work with experienced leaders who provide the tools and training necessary for you to contribute to the continued success of our client’s organization.  In addition, our comprehensive and competitive benefits program is designed to support the health, financial well-being, and work-life balance of our employees. Eligible team members have access to multiple medical plan options, along with dental and vision coverage which include the options to choose either a Health Savings Account (HSA) or a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) to help manage healthcare costs.  In addition, we offer a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for commuter transit costs to set aside funds on a pre-tax basis. We also provide company-sponsored life and disability insurance to protect employees and their families, as well as voluntary benefit options for additional financial security.  To support long-term financial planning, employees may participate in our 401(k) retirement savings plan and time out of the office programs such as paid holidays and vacation, reinforcing our commitment to flexibility, wellness, and sustainable career growth.

Salary Range:   $55 - $68 per hour

At Maslow, we are committed to equitable and market-aligned compensation practices. The salary range provided represents the good-faith compensation band we anticipate for this role at the time of posting.  Individual compensation within this range will be determined based on a comprehensive evaluation of factors including, but not limited to: relevant education, professional experience, demonstrated competencies, technical expertise, certifications, scope of responsibility, geographic considerations, applicable regulatory requirements, and overall business needs.  We take a holistic approach to compensation, ensuring alignment with both market benchmarks and internal equity.
