Job DetailsJob Location: Bethesda, MD 20817Position Type: Part-TimeSalary Range: $32.20 - $32.20 HourlyPOSITION SUMMARY:  Holton-Arms School is seeking afternoon route drivers to transport students from school to home, as well as for field trips and athletic events. Hours are daily from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Drive school buses for route, sports and field trips as needed. DOT Pre and post trip inspections of vehicle. Complete daily student manifest. Daily use of vehicle technology. Complete mandatory monthly safety trainings Clean and fuel buses daily. Other duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have clean driving record. CDL with P & S Endorsements. Must have ability to communicate effectively both orally and written. Maintain professional appearance at all times. Should be able to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures. Willingness to work overtime if needed. Must be physically able to perform the duties required for this position. Willingness to submit to fingerprinting, a background check, and drug and alcohol testing consistent with employee handbook and work rules. WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed inside and outside the vehicle with exposure to inclement weather and unpredictable crisis situations.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee must stand, walk, or drive for most of the shift.  Occasional climbing, crawling, bending and stooping are required. The employee is expected to lift up to 50 lbs.  SALARY AND BENEFITS This is a part-time hourly position paying $32.20 per hour.  Overtime is paid if an employee works over 40 hours in a week.  Benefits are not available for this part-time position.
