Job Title: BESS Cabinet Assembler

Location: Bethlehem, PA

Overview:

The cabinet assembler produces mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies, products or systems by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as required by production needs.

Assembles parts and/or units and positions, aligns, and fastens units to assemblies, subassemblies, or frames using various hand and power tools.
Positions, aligns, and adjusts parts for proper fit and assembly.
Connects cables, tubes and wiring according to standard manufacturing methods and procedures.
Diligently follows work instructions, blueprints, and/or schematics to ensure product specs, performance targets and quality levels are met.
Supports continuous improvement activities and participates in problem solving activities.
Contributes to a safe working environment by following safety requirements.
Collaborates with Team Leader and Manager to resolve technical problems, validates recommendations or reviews material requirements.
Works in a team environment to assemble components.
Perform other miscellaneous duties and activities as assigned

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work with tools, equipment, and technical processes
Hands-on, mechanically inclined, and detail-oriented
Comfortable interpreting technical information and instructions
Understanding of Electrical
Basic computer literacy and the ability to navigate standard workplace software applications

Physical Requirements:

Ability to remain standing for extended periods while performing job duties
Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50lbs
Occasionally bend, stoop, reach, and maneuver into confined or limited-access areas
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and productivity
Requires wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), steel-toes, gloves and safety glasses.
