We're hiring experienced Cooks for an immediate opportunity supporting a busy university dining operation in Albany, NY. We're looking for dependable culinary professionals who are comfortable working in a high-volume kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and production needs
• Work grill, sauté, fry, oven, and other kitchen stations
• Prepare food for high-volume meal periods
• Follow portion, quality, and presentation standards
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Assist with prep, stocking, and kitchen cleanup as needed

Requirements

• Previous professional Cook or Line Cook experience required
• High-volume cooking experience strongly preferred
• Experience in university dining, corporate dining, hotels, catering, healthcare, or restaurants is a plus
• Strong knife skills and basic culinary knowledge
• Able to follow recipes and production sheets
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen
• Dependable with strong attendance
• Reliable transportation
• Flexible availability, including weekends as needed
