Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a College in Beverly  MA

Monday - Friday 3 PM - 11 PM

Starting Pay is $19.28 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training 

As a Security Officer in Beverly, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and provide outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Bring strong communication skills and a people-first approach while supporting a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and reliable service.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of academic buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
