About the Role:
Birdsboro Lodge is looking for a talented and passionate Cook to join their team in Birdsboro, PA! Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen workspace at all times
- Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering and stocking supplies as needed
- Follow proper food handling, storage, and safety procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal service
- Assist with menu planning and suggest new dishes or improvements
- Ensure portion control and minimize food waste
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Cook, Line Cook, or in a similar food service role preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Food handler's certification or ServSafe certification is a plus
