SENIOR RECRUITER

Turn healthcare talent into measurable client impact.

Bloomfield Hills, MI  |  Full-time  |  Hybrid  |  Experienced

Walker Healthforce is a specialized healthcare staffing and IT consulting firm connecting exceptional professionals with healthcare organizations nationwide. We are seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter who can turn complex requirements into qualified candidates, successful placements, and lasting relationships.

This is not a traditional corporate HR position. It is a performance-driven, full-cycle recruiting role requiring urgency, consultative communication, candidate judgment, disciplined execution, and closing ability.

What You’ll Do

  • Own assigned requisitions from intake and recruiting strategy through candidate start.
  • Translate client requirements into focused searches, qualification questions, and compelling candidate messaging.
  • Use Bullhorn, AI-enabled tools, professional networks, job boards, referrals, and direct outreach to build qualified pipelines.
  • Validate AI-recommended matches and assess experience, accomplishments, motivation, compensation, availability, and potential risks.
  • Conduct consultative candidate interviews and create accurate, persuasive submissions aligned with client priorities.
  • Prepare candidates for interviews, manage competing opportunities, anticipate counteroffers, and close offers effectively.
  • Maintain strong candidate relationships, accurate Bullhorn records, and consistent follow-through while sharing market insight and supporting developing recruiters.

What We’re Looking For

  • Three or more years of full-cycle agency, consulting, professional staffing, healthcare or IT recruiting experience.
  • Demonstrated success meeting placement goals and managing candidates from initial engagement through accepted offer and start.
  • Strong candidate qualification, interview preparation, negotiation, and closing capabilities.
  • Experience recruiting healthcare IT, EHR, payer, provider, care management, analytics, or healthcare business operations talent preferred.
  • Experience with Bullhorn or a comparable ATS/CRM and disciplined documentation practices.
  • Ability to prioritize high-value work, meet rapid submission deadlines, and adjust strategy using funnel and conversion data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

What Success Looks Like

Success is measured by candidate quality and conversion—not activity alone. Key outcomes include speed to qualified candidates, submission-to-interview and interview-to-offer conversion, placements, successful starts, candidate engagement, Bullhorn data quality, and effective use of AI-enabled tools.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive base compensation with performance-based, uncapped earning opportunity.
  • Medical, dental and vision insurance; paid time off; retirement benefits; disability coverage; and professional development.
  • Established healthcare client relationships and opportunities to advance into recruiting leadership or strategic delivery roles.
