We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to support our documentation and records management processes. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring compliance with company standards, and supporting project teams through effective document control practices.

 

Position Overview

The Document Controller will manage and maintain company documentation throughout its lifecycle, ensuring records are accurate, secure, and easily accessible. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience working with document management systems in a manufacturing, engineering, or technical environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize project, engineering, quality, and operational documents within the company's document management system.
  • Ensure document accuracy, version control, and proper filing according to company procedures.
  • Coordinate document reviews, approvals, and distribution to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Track document status, revisions, and approval workflows to ensure timely completion.
  • Support internal audits, customer audits, and compliance activities by providing required documentation.
  • Maintain document logs, records, and archives to ensure information is secure and easily accessible.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and project teams to support documentation needs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve document control processes and maintain efficient record-keeping practices.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in document control, records management, or administrative support.
  • Experience working in manufacturing, engineering, semiconductor, aerospace, defense, or related industries preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Experience using electronic document management systems (EDMS).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Records Management, Information Management, or a related field preferred.
