The Staff Pad has partnered with a reputed healthcare organization in Blue Ridge, GA and we are looking to hire an experienced and competent Director of Plant Operations to plan, organize and direct the operations of the Plant Operations department.

In this role, you will oversee the planning, design, construction, renovations, operations, maintenance, and equipment management of the environment of care, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, regulations, licensing and accreditation standards, and industry best practices.

The Director of Operations will lead collaborative performance improvement initiatives, identify opportunities to enhance quality, safety, and efficiency, and implement and monitor strategies that support continuous improvement in patient care.

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Plant Operations Department for operational excellence and compliance
  • Oversee facility planning, design, construction, and maintenance for safety and functionality
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and licensing standards
  • Lead collaborative performance and quality improvement initiatives
  • Implement and monitor quality improvement programs to enhance patient care and operations
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to foster collaboration and efficiency
  • Ensure the safety and security of personnel, patients, and visitors through proactive measures
  • Oversee departmental budgets and resource allocation to maximize operational efficiency

What We Are Looking For

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma required
  • Training in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering preferred; Equivalent education and experience considered
  • 5+ years of progressive safety, security, or engineering experience + 2+ years of supervisory experience
  • Healthcare or hospital experience strongly preferred
