PRN ULTRASOUND TECHÂ *SAFETY SENSITIVE JOB
Performs Ultrasound procedures for all ages (neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric) by utilizing ultrasound frequency, and/or other imaging modalities in order to aid in the diagnosis and/or treatment of disease or illnesses. Works under the general direction of the radiology director or lead technologist and in cooperation with the radiologist.
Requirements
Must have completed an AMA approved program in Radiology with a degree or equivalent, or an AMA approved program in ultrasound and have a minimum of 1 years' experience. Must be registered in a specialty division of Ultrasound. Must be proficient in scanning ABD/OBGYN, Small Parts, and Vascular. Must have your BLS. Subject to call and holidays.
