Job DetailsJob Location: St Andrews Country Club Property Association - Boca Raton, FL 33496Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $25.00 - $30.00 HourlyPosition Summary The AV Technician & Marketing Coordinator is a hands-on, service-oriented team member responsible for supporting audiovisual operations, live event technology, and day-to-day marketing and multimedia needs throughout the Club. The position combines technical event support with creative execution, helping ensure Club events run smoothly while supporting timely, polished communications for members and staff. Working under the direction of the Director of Administration & Technology and in close collaboration with the Creative Director, this position provides on-site AV support, captures photo and video content, assists with digital and print marketing materials, and helps maintain organized multimedia and communications assets. The Club utilizes an outsourced IT provider for primary technology support, infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and system administration. This position is expected to maintain a basic working knowledge of Club technology and assist with simple on-site needs; however, IT support is not a primary responsibility of the role. This is an hourly, non-exempt position requiring flexibility, professionalism, attention to detail, and schedule flexibility based on Club events, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.   Essential Responsibilities Audio/Visual & Event Technology Operations Set up, operate, test, troubleshoot, and break down audio, video, lighting, presentation, conferencing, and multimedia equipment for meetings, tournaments, member events, weddings, banquets, and special functions. Provide hands-on AV and event technology support across Club venues, meeting rooms, recreational facilities, and event spaces. Plan and coordinate audiovisual requirements with departments and event teams to ensure systems are properly configured, tested, and event-ready. Support live presentations, sound reinforcement, microphones, video playback, livestreaming, hybrid meetings, conferencing, and other event production needs. Deliver a seamless and professional audiovisual experience for members, guests, presenters, and staff, responding quickly and discreetly to technical issues. Manage Club televisions, digital signage technology, presentation systems, conferencing technology, displays, and related multimedia systems. Maintain audiovisual equipment, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and coordinate repairs and replacements as needed. Maintain inventory and accountability for audiovisual and multimedia equipment. Identify AV equipment needs and technology improvements and provide recommendations to management. Assist with coordination of outside AV vendors and production partners as directed. Collaborate closely with Catering, Events, Golf, Racquets, Fitness, Communications, and other departments to anticipate needs and ensure successful event execution.   Marketing, Communications & Multimedia Support Provide photography and videography support for Club events, amenities, dining, golf, racquets, fitness, tournaments, and member experiences as assigned. Support the Creative Director with multimedia production, including event coverage, interviews, promotional videos, instructional content, and special projects. Capture and prepare photo, video, and audio assets for use across Club communications channels. Provide technical production support for video shoots, interviews, livestreams, presentations, and other multimedia projects. Operate cameras, lighting, microphones, audio recording equipment, and other multimedia production equipment. Assist with editing and post-production when needed, following established creative direction and brand standards. Maintain organized multimedia files and coordinate storage of photo/video assets in collaboration with the Creative Director.   Technology Coordination Maintain a basic understanding of computers, connectivity, presentation technology, and common Club systems as they relate to AV and multimedia operations. Assist with simple technology setup and basic troubleshooting when appropriate. Help identify and communicate technology issues to the Club’s outsourced IT provider and Director of Administration & Technology. Provide on-site assistance to the outsourced IT provider when equipment access, testing, or basic coordination is needed. Escalate computer, network, Wi-Fi, cybersecurity, software, server, and other IT-related issues to the Club’s outsourced IT provider.   Marketing & Creative Support Assist with routine marketing materials, event graphics, digital signage, presentations, and special campaigns using established templates and brand standards. Collaborate with the Creative Director and Communications & Marketing Coordinator to ensure multimedia assets are delivered in the appropriate format and on schedule. Prepare and resize creative assets for email, website, social media, digital signage, presentations, and print as assigned. Follow established Club branding, visual standards, approval processes, and creative direction for all materials produced. QualificationsKnowledge & Skill Requirements Demonstrated experience setting up, operating, and troubleshooting audiovisual equipment for meetings, presentations, and live events. Working knowledge of audio, video, presentation, conferencing, and related AV technologies. Experience with photography and videography, including cameras, lighting, audio, and basic photo/video editing. Basic working knowledge of computers, software, connectivity, and general technology, with the ability to assist with routine setup needs and appropriately escalate IT issues to the Club’s outsourced technology provider. Excellent organizational and project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple events, projects, and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional interpersonal and customer-service skills with a professional, polished, and service-oriented approach when working with members, guests, staff, and vendors. Ability to remain composed, resourceful, and solutions-focused when troubleshooting technical issues during live events. Experience with livestreaming, hybrid meetings, digital signage, video conferencing, and live video production. Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, or comparable design and editing applications. General familiarity with networking and wireless technology as it relates to audiovisual, conferencing, and multimedia systems is helpful, but not required.   Education & Work Experience Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Audiovisual Technology, Multimedia Production, Digital Media, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, and professional experience. Experience in a private club, hospitality, resort, hotel, conference center, or other high-touch service environment. One to three years of hands-on experience in audiovisual operations, event technology, marketing, multimedia production, communications, or a related environment.
