Job Description:


Our law firm is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Paralegal to support our Florida practice. In this role, you will work closely with attorneys and legal staff to prepare documents, organize case information, track deadlines, coordinate filings, and assist with court-related tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, comfortable working in a busy legal environment, and has practical knowledge of navigating courts. Experience with creditors’ rights, foreclosure, real estate, or related financial services matters is preferred, but we welcome candidates with strong legal support experience and a willingness to learn.

The Paralegal provides comprehensive legal and administrative support to attorney handling eviction matters, re-foreclosure actions, title curative work, and related litigation. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to manage a high-volume caseload, and a thorough understanding of legal procedures, court deadlines, and title-related issues.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

Ā· Assist attorneys with court matters, including foreclosure-related and creditor-related matters.

Ā· Prepare, review, organize, and file legal documents.

Ā· Track deadlines, hearing dates, filing requirements, and service requirements.

Ā· Communicate professionally with attorneys, court personnel, clients, vendors, and internal team members.

Ā· Maintain organized files and help ensure matters are handled accurately, efficiently, and on time.

Experience:

Ā· Prior paralegal or legal support experience in a law firm, legal department, or similar professional environment.

Ā· Practical knowledge of court procedures, filing requirements, local rules, and hearing calendars.

Ā· Experience with creditors’ rights, foreclosure, real estate, or related financial services matters preferred.

Ā· Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

Ā· Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.

Ā· Ability to work well with attorneys, staff, clients, courts, and outside vendors in a professional and collaborative manner.

Ā· Comfortable using legal technology, case management systems, e-filing platforms, Microsoft Office, and general office tools.

Ā· Clear and professional written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.

Required Education and Training

Ā· Paralegal certificate, associate degree, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent legal experience preferred.

Ā· Prior experience supporting court matters preferred.

Ā· Training or experience with court filing systems, case management platforms, or legal document preparation is a plus.
