Job Overview
On-site - F/T - W2
Vetclaims.ai is looking for a creative, hands-on YouTube Producer to expand our channel’s reach and transform complex VA disability processes, policy updates, and benefit guides into engaging, easy-to-follow video content. This role is built for a proactive storyteller with sharp instincts for channel growth—someone who knows how to pair high-speed coverage of breaking veterans' news with evergreen, high-value educational content.
You will own the channel's end-to-end video lifecycle, taking ideas from initial concept all the way through publishing. Working closely with company leadership and subject-matter experts, you will produce insightful commentary, step-by-step guides, and interview-style videos. This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing and collaborates regularly across our content, creative, and product teams.
Responsibilities
Lead full end-to-end video production, managing every phase of the creative pipeline from initial concepting, outline drafting, and filming setups through final edit approvals, metadata packaging, and channel publishing.
Build and execute a dynamic YouTube content strategy aligned with our mission to empower veterans, covering VA policy updates, benefit breakdowns, guest expert interviews, recurring series, and topical commentary.
Collaborate directly with Vetclaims.ai leadership and veteran advocacy experts to produce sharp commentary and guest interviews—handling topic research, briefing materials, question prep, and recording management.
Own video packaging to maximize reach and click-through rates, including crafting compelling titles and descriptions, steering thumbnail design, and running A/B testing.
Drive day-to-day production workflows and schedules, ensuring seamless execution across all planned and breaking video projects.
Partner with the social media team to repurpose high-impact moments from long-form videos into short-form assets (YouTube Shorts, Reels, TikTok), guiding clip selection, packaging, and cross-platform distribution.
Direct video editors through the post-production cycle by providing clear feedback, approving final cuts, and jumping in to edit directly when necessary.
Leverage YouTube Studio analytics to monitor video performance, derive audience insights, refine strategy, and report on growth metrics.
Oversee technical and production logistics, including recording software, hardware setups, asset libraries, and calendar management.
Coordinate with product and growth teams to align video initiatives with broader user acquisition, retention, and veteran engagement goals.
Qualifications
4+ years in video production, with explicit experience building and producing YouTube content in an educational, news, advocacy, or media environment.
Sharp editorial judgment with the speed and agility to cover fast-moving news and VA policy changes.
Demonstrated history of developing, structuring, and producing long-form YouTube videos.
Deep knowledge of YouTube growth mechanics, packaging, metadata, and platform best practices.
High level of comfort directing on-camera talent, senior executives, and guest speakers.
Advanced proficiency in editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro) and remote recording setups (e.g., Riverside).
Thorough grasp of digital audience engagement strategies and modern media trends.
Superior organizational, communication, and project management skills.
Deeply passionate about supporting veterans and ensuring they receive the full VA ratings and benefits they've earned.
