Job Purpose
Execute production schedules as rated throughout to meet quality, safety, cost and delivery standards.
Â
Essential FunctionsÂ
- Execute the daily production schedule to meet customer ordersÂ
- Ensure timely and accurate production of product, including setup of equipment/supplies, to maintain processing standardsÂ
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production machinery safely and securely as needed to achieve a high standard of performance
- Properly handle ingredients used in production as needed, including staging, measuring, and mixing • Complete all necessary paperwork to company standardsÂ
- Adhere to all cleaning procedures in production areaÂ
- Adhere to the allergen control program guidelines, including equipment cleaning and verification activitiesÂ
- Take corrective action as assigned by the Supervisor based on pre-operation and daily self-assessment audit findingsÂ
- Participate in investigating issues, finding root causes, and developing solutions for issues that arise in the production areaÂ
- Take actions necessary to resolve food safety and quality deficienciesÂ
- Maintain safe working conditions and preserve the integrity of the environmental health and safety system through adherence to the policies and procedures outlined in the safety program
- Participate in mandatory training program requirementsÂ
- Comply with all food safety requirements, training, policies, and proceduresÂ
- Perform other job-related duties as assignedÂ
Qualifications (Education/Experience)Â
- High school diploma or equivalent preferredÂ
- Knowledge of production procedures preferredÂ
- 1+ years of production experience in food manufacturing desiredÂ
- Machine operator experience desiredÂ
- Must be able to operate a forklift and pallet jack; certification preferred, otherwise must successfully pass forklift certification test.
- Basic HMI experience desiredÂ
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skillsÂ
- Ability to effectively communicate with peers and leadershipÂ
- Ability to work cross-functionally, convey equipment issues, and maintain confidentialityÂ
- Ability to think quickly and handle frequent changeÂ
- Detail oriented with the ability to organize and multitaskÂ
- Self-motivated, goal oriented, quality driven, and capable of working independently with minimal supervisionÂ
- Willingness to work Overtime as needed
