The Table Games Floor Supervisor Implements and ensures compliance with approved procedures, trains, supervises, and monitors performance of Team Members to ensure smooth and efficient gaming during shift. Responsible for the protection of the assets within assigned areas.

Responsibilities

  • Safeguards casino assets.
  • Implements and ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and gaming regulatory requirements.
  • Supervises the operation of an assigned number of tables and dealers.
  • Responsible for the training and equitable treatment of all Table Games personnel.
  • Ensure fills and credits are handled according to policy.
  • Promotes outstanding guest relations.
  • Assists in answering questions or resolving disputes.
  • Creates an atmosphere of fun for all casino guests. 
  • Encourages mutual respect, dignity, and integrity with all associates by setting a positive example at all times. 
  • Instills an atmosphere that encourages associates to share ideas, discuss concerns and resolve disputes. 
  • Retains associates through personal involvement in associate training and development.
  • Supports and maintains Horseshoe courtesy guidelines.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Directly supervises an assigned number of dealers.
  • Orders for fills and credits slips, key control, markers and customer balance records, table inventory forms, and complimentary rooms, food, beverage.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. 
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. 
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Will be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property. 
  • Ability to obtain the appropriate work authorization per gaming regulations required.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to obtain Non-Key LA Gaming License and Responsible Vendor Certification.
  • Basic knowledge of a Casino Credit system preferred.
  • Previous experience in a leadership position preferred.
  • Game knowledge/experience of at least two Pit Games required.
  • Must possess good communication and customer service skills. 
  • Must be willing to work any day of the week and any shift. 
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, as well as lie on back to work inside the confines of a slot machine cabinet for long periods of time. 
  • Required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. 
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 10 pounds.
  • Vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust. 
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. 
  • Must be able to work inside and continuously maneuver around Pit area and throughout the hotel/casino property.
