Core ResponsibilitiesĀ Ā 

  • MaximizeĀ the commercial performance of LEGO.comĀ within the MexicoĀ market, byĀ using data to spot trends and opportunities toĀ optimizeĀ the site through existing business toolsĀ 

  • Work with Regional Merchandising teams toĀ optimizeĀ the product portfolio and stock positionsĀ in order toĀ drive weekly sales results andĀ optimizeĀ item order limitsĀ 

  • Explore global vs local trends to make recommendations on how toĀ leverageĀ localizedĀ content and experiencesĀ 

  • OptimizeĀ internal site search on a global, language and country level, ensuring shoppers are finding the right products for them regardless of language and locationĀ 

  • Develop deepĀ expertiseĀ onĀ ourĀ eCommerceĀ tools, supporting documentation efforts to improve overallĀ ECommerceĀ team capabilitiesĀ Ā 

  • Working with Product Management and our technical IT team,Ā defineĀ requirements for businessĀ toolĀ to support on-siteĀ optimizationĀ andĀ defineĀ requirements for relevant local shopper requirements (e.g.Ā payment options)Ā 

  • Support the development of theĀ personalizationĀ strategy to balance global segmentĀ personalizationĀ and local commercial opportunitiesĀ 

  • Input into the sales forecast, supporting the delivery of the targets through a clearly defined on-site action plan by region and by countryĀ 

  • Coordinate with Marketing teams to assess effectiveness of promotions and plan for future promotions andĀ optimizeĀ markdownĀ 

  • Work with Fraud team toĀ optimizeĀ cancellation rates and chargebacksĀ 

  • Coordinate with Distribution and Consumer Services teams to track and improve Shopper NPS andĀ eCommerceĀ profitabilityĀ Ā 

  • Drive projects with Distribution to improve shopper experience and improve profitabilityĀ 

  • Work with Consumer Services team to understand shopper feedback andĀ take actions to driveĀ commercial tractionĀ

As a part of the LEGO Retail organization, theĀ GlobalĀ eCommerceĀ team drives the development of lego.com and digital shopper channels across regions, including new market entry, and plays a pivotal role in the LEGO GroupĀ commercialĀ strategy.Ā Ā

One of the biggest changes we are making is moving from a brandĀ eCommerceĀ platform to a retail website.Ā Ā This means making a mindset shift fromĀ passivelyĀ driving sales to proactively managing on-site sales performance.Ā

The role will play a pivotal role in defining the change to be commercially led, with the objectiveĀ toĀ realizeĀ the on-site sales opportunities by delivering the best possible experience forĀ each and everyĀ visitor.Ā Ā Ā 

Ā 

Working alongsideĀ eCommerce, Marketing and the wider LEGO Group, this role will define and deliver plans to use our existing business tools toĀ optimizeĀ the site down to a country level, becoming an expert in regional and language differences.Ā Ā Ā

Do youĀ haveĀ what it takes?Ā 

  • Proven experienceĀ working inĀ eCommerceĀ with strong experienceĀ working with on-site optimization tools including analytics, testing, contentĀ managementĀ and internal searchĀ 

  • Well-versedĀ in merchandising and salesĀ withĀ consumer productsĀ 

  • Native level fluency in English &Ā SpanishĀ written and spokenĀ 

  • StrongĀ track recordĀ of deliveringĀ eCommerceĀ sales upliftĀ Ā 

  • Passion for developing a deep understanding of shopper needs throughout the online journey and how this differs by language and countryĀ 

  • Ability to define requirements to drive technical changes via the backlog management processĀ 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to and engaging stakeholders at all levelsĀ 

  • An enthusiastic, positive approach and determination to overcome obstacles; results orientation with a focus on quality,Ā efficiencyĀ and operational excellenceĀ Ā Ā 

  • Open, collaborative communication style, with experience working across cultures and time zones to build connected, sustainable relationships regardless of organizational structureĀ 

  • Valid passport and ability to travel internationally up to 20%Ā

Compensation

The salary for this position has a range of $107,885.00 - $161,827.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
