Nurtury is seeking a Instructional Coach to conduct observations and program assessments using measurement tools in the classroom and to provide guidance on curriculum design and implementation.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide technical guidance to Program Directors on conducting program assessments in their program and maintain close communications regarding staff/classroom goals and progress.
  • Utilize measurement tools to assess compliance with quality standards.
  • Coach and guide educators in completion of child assessments and use of assessment data to guide curriculum planning. 
  • Provide monthly trainings for staff in Teaching Strategies Gold (TSG) and Creative Curriculum.
  • Facilitate monthly “lunch in a bag” mini trainings or discussion topics – remotely or in person.

You:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree; 5 years relevant experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and training
  • Are Teacher Certified by the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) required, Lead Teacher Certification preferred 
  • Have knowledge and skills in program quality standards and use of measurement tools in early care and education
  • Have strong oral and written communication skills
  • Have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, internet/e-mail
