Salary: $20.00 / hour

 
As an In-Home Support Staff you will work with both Vinfen and the family / guardian of person's served to provide high quality case management services.

In your role you will provide training to persons served as determined by family/guardian and person served on community integration initatives including fire and safety regulations, shopping, money management, cooking, meal planning, household chores, ADLs, self-medication and other areas.  You will be a responisble for monitoring person's served's proficiency in these skills and performing hands-on tasks in the program as required, in order to facilitate implementation of support plans.
 
This position will need to provide coverage for the program as agreed upon with family; including overnights, days,evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • One year of related experience
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and have a current, valid, US drivers' license for at least 6 months.
  • Must become CPR, First Aid certified within 2 weeks of employment; must attend other trainings as needed
  • Must be able to successfully pass a CORI, reference, multi-state background and driving record check.
