SciTec is seeking a Quality Assurance / Test Lead for large software system providing value for an emergent missile defense need.  Â
Responsibilities- Support planning and execution of system integration and verification activitiesÂ
- Develop and refine test strategies, plans, and methodologies aligned with program objectivesÂ
- Execute and support system-level test events, including integration, functional, and performance testingÂ
- Identify verification gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities, and drive resolutionÂ
- Analyze system performance against requirements and document test resultsÂ
- Collaborate with software, systems, infrastructure, and program teams to ensure integrated system readinessÂ
- Support coordination with government and contractor stakeholders to align integration and test activitiesÂ
- Provide recommendations to improve verification rigor, efficiency, and consistencyÂ
- Support preparation for internal and external reviews, assessments, and demonstrationsÂ
- Contribute to continuous improvement of integration and test processes across programsÂ
- Derive metrics and acceptance criteria for system-level and acceptance-level testing from program requirementsÂ
- Perform other duties as assignedÂ
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physical Sciences, or a related technical field or equivalent experienceÂ
- 10+ years of experience supporting system integration, test, or verification activities in a defense or complex systems environmentÂ
- Experience with system-level verification and validation (V&V)Â
- Experience with the four layers of testing in the software development life cycle (SDLC)Â
- Experience developing or executing test plans and test proceduresÂ
- Ability to analyze system behavior against requirements, derived test criteria, and document resultsÂ
- Strong understanding of integration environments and test workflowsÂ
- Experience collaborating across technical teams and stakeholdersÂ
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skillsÂ
- Excellent verbal and written communication skillsÂ
- Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance
Candidates who have any of the following skills will be preferred:Â
- A current active DoD SECRET security clearance or higherÂ
- Experience contributing to verification strategy developmentÂ
- Experience supporting Missile Warning, space, or similar mission systemsÂ
- Experience working across multiple programs or system componentsÂ
- Experience supporting customer-facing test events or demonstrationsÂ
- Experience in Agile or hybrid development environmentsÂ

The pay range for this position is $152,000 to 191,000 / year. SciTec considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
